Conpensation from AirAsia

As i mention last post, i will send an email to airasia for the compensation on the flight delayed. I received a email reply from airasia as below :-

Dear Ms. Noryn Jasmine Ng,

We thank you for writing in to us.We convey our sincere apologies if our delay has caused inconvenience and distress to you.

AirAsia always adhere on time departure and deport our passenger to the designated destination on time; however delays are unavoidable and caused distress to both parties. The flight delayed was due to bad weather and unfit to be released to service. We would rather delay the flight, than risking safety of our guests.

We convey our sincere apologies if our ground staff has advised your that you can claim for flight delay. However, delays due to bad weather, operational reason or act of God, are not eligible for OTG. The voucher is only issued for delay due to technical reason and more than 2 hours on day of operation.

However, for AK 5389 from Terengganu to KUL (LCCT) was delayed due to bad weather and therefore not eligible for OTG.

If the same things happen to you next time, as you know flight delayed due to bad weather. Don't waste your time to send them an email to ask for what so called " Conpensation " .. Sighz !
