Conpensation from AirAsia

As i mention last post, i will send an email to airasia for the compensation on the flight delayed. I received a email reply from airasia as below :-

Dear Ms. Noryn Jasmine Ng,

We thank you for writing in to us.We convey our sincere apologies if our delay has caused inconvenience and distress to you.

AirAsia always adhere on time departure and deport our passenger to the designated destination on time; however delays are unavoidable and caused distress to both parties. The flight delayed was due to bad weather and unfit to be released to service. We would rather delay the flight, than risking safety of our guests.

We convey our sincere apologies if our ground staff has advised your that you can claim for flight delay. However, delays due to bad weather, operational reason or act of God, are not eligible for OTG. The voucher is only issued for delay due to technical reason and more than 2 hours on day of operation.

However, for AK 5389 from Terengganu to KUL (LCCT) was delayed due to bad weather and therefore not eligible for OTG.

If the same things happen to you next time, as you know flight delayed due to bad weather. Don't waste your time to send them an email to ask for what so called " Conpensation " .. Sighz !

Raya 2009 Part II

3rd day of Raya I escorted Naweer’s sister – Linda to Kuala Terengganu for a wedding. We take Airasia flight from LCCT and reach Kuala Terengganu around 2:30pm. From there we continue our journey to Setiu by car, a distance which takes around 1 and half hour to reach. Linda’s friend book a chalet for us which is located in an oil palm farm located 3km in from the main road. When we’ve reached there which around 5 something in the evening and the weather seems like it’s going to rain. The place is not as what we expected and nobody is around there. It’s very quiet around the place and later that night it’s started to rain heavily and the situation getting scarier. I and Linda started to worry since we’re the only customer staying there. After a while we’ve decided to leave and find somewhere else to stay for that night since we didn’t really feel comfortable and secure there, wondering what will happen if something happen to us in the middle of the night, nobody will even hear we scream our tonsils out! Lucky for us Akbar < Thank you so much Akbar > is at Kuala Terengganu and he is willing to take us out from there. To cut it short we managed to find another hotel near to the town later that night.

4th of Raya, we attend Linda’s friend’s wedding and shortly after that we rush back to Kuala Terengganu airport for our flight back to KL. Our flight is on 9:20pm and we’ve checked in on 8pm. Me and Linda is so tired and hopes we can get back to home sweet home as early as possible. While we waiting for the flight, airport broadcast announced that our flight from LCCT to Kuala Terengganu has to turn back to LCCT due to bad weather. Gosh, the flight is delayed and everyone in the waiting room started to become restless and then one of the old lady lost her patient and shouted to the officer in charge. We keep on waiting and waiting and we can’t get any further update until 11:30pm. To calm everybody down, The officer in charge says that because of the delay everyone in the flight will get compensation of RM200 ticket voucher. After a while they informed us that our flight will be reaching in Kuala Terengganu on 12:05am. I managed to meet my hubby naweer at the airport on 1:05am and I reach home around 2am something.

5th of Raya, I start working today with a panda eyes. I’m so dead sleepy but I will still remember to send an email to airasia for my compensation.

That all my story for this year RAYA. It’s interesting but tiring …

Raya 2009

Hey Jazz .. How was your Raya celebration ? Well, nothing special this year but tiring.This year is my 2nd year officially celebrate raya as a muslim. And i get to learn more new things in this Ramadan months and raya. I celebrate with my one and only muslim family - Naweer's family at klang. A day before we've back to klang to help his parents for house keeping and masak masak. Malam raya, I've start cooking and prepare the Raya foods with Naweer's mom. This year raya we've rendang ayam, rendang daging, nasi impit, lemang, kuah kacang and more.Besides, we've prepare more than 9 different cookies this year as well. Wah, delicous.. Naweer and his father busy with the housekeepingand decoration.
1st day Raya, everyone wake up with a happy feelings. For all the gentleman, wear new clothes and heading to mosque for prayer and all theladies start busy in the kitchen and dressing up. Everyone gather together for breakfast and continue with the " Maaf Zahir dan Batin " Ceremony.Naweer's uncle and auntie visit and the house is getting happening, full of joyful and lot's of kids running around. End of the day, i was sleeping becausetoo tired on the preparation. I can't even catch up the manchester game vs manchester city too. But i know they will sure win =)
2nd day of raya, is a very relax day for all of us. Early morning we dress up ourself and start visitng our relatives house from Sri Petaling -> Cheras ->Keramat -> Damansara. All the while is just keep eating eating and eating ... Pretty relax and back home start packing my luggage for the trip to terrenganu -Linda's friend's wedding.

Selamat Hari Raya 2009

Ramadhan is coming to an end now with only a few days to go. And next week will be one of the biggest annual celebrations for all Muslims worldwide. It will be a celebration of victory for all who succeeded in completing their duties during Ramadhan as well as to welcome the month of Syawal. How fast the days have moved, it seemed only yesterday I’ve just started fasting.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all my family, friends, colleagues and business associates Happy Holidays! and Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin. I would like to also apologize for any wrong doings or harsh comments I might have made to everyone. We are only human so are prone to making mistakes. Do take care of yourself and your loved ones during this festive period, especially if you’re planning to travel long distances. Check your transportation and make sure you allocate enough time for delays and congestion.

Why Women Spend Longer Time In Shopping Mall?

1) We are the economists - we are good in managing our own money and time in a smart way.

2) We are the good researchers - We know where to get the cheapest price and good quality stuff. We know exactly the location of each shop in the mall. We know when wills the mega sales start hitting in. We know because we survey. Just look at how a woman and a man spend their RM60 for the same t-shirt but in different time. The woman gets 2 polo T-shirts, one for her husband and one for herself from Giordano while the man only get 1 for himself. The secret? We go for Buy-1-Free-1 promotion while man, they are too lazy to bother.

3) We are thoughtful - we care for the person we love, that’s why we shop to get good present for them. We know very well that the present will be the best thing ever in his/hers life because we are too caring. By the way, we wouldn't simply grab a gift from any cheap, low quality shop for the people we love.

4) We need exercise - Most men prefer going to the gym for exercise while most women prefer shopping mall instead! As you can see in the picture, we girls do walk a lot and consume big amount of energy especially to those who wear high heels. In addition, we are away from those irritable UV light, hot weather (you know Malaysia well, don't you?), thick carbon monoxide from the vehicles and sticky road.

Besides, there is free air-conditioned and free music which are provided in the mall. Aren't we the brilliant creature in the world? Em... I mean the FEMALES! :)

5) We are socializing - Most girls go shopping with their friends, especially for a long...long... window shopping. One of the best ways I find out in strengthening a relationship with my friends is by going shopping with them. It is incredibly effective. Trust me boys. That long hours of being togetherness is worth it. Well, this is our way - the female way.



6) We are the businesswoman - We buy at a cheap price and sell them off with higher price especially on those unique items.

7) Do I have to continue pointing the reasons? I think the above 6 reasons are enough to make guys who read them stunned... *wink*

Again, why women spend longer time in shopping mall?
Well, we are just too smart. Am I right, ladies?
